if greatness will be so inspired
perhaps my eyes will bleed
for when I see you beneath
my blade - Lo! The beauty!
Only minutes between the dreams now
but it catches up so quickly
with great monster-strides, a toothed maw
gaping at me, mash mash mash.
Any ideas or analysis?

This is a very interesting write! I loved the comparison of your dreams to the maw. mash mash mash was just a perfect ending to this poem which creates a perfect synergy between enlightenment and comedy.

there is a playfulness here, i think, that contrasts the quick feel and flow. i have been spending more time in front of the open mic. - - looking for places to hear poetry aloud, places to practice my own out loud and so i listen to the sounds when i read poems; more now than when i first got here. I love the sound of this. it is refreshing. Like Walt's 'barbaric yawp"
