Thirteen days until I die
Until the world ceases to exist
And all the others that have tried
Have never known such pain as this
As my sound shakes the earth
Do the angels flinch in fear?
And does this show what they are worth
Or prove that they are neither there nor here
The scar on a wrist is born
Or the exit of the living is made
Or the life of love is torn
To combine, grow strong, and fade
Is there truth hidden behind these words
Like the hollow in the bones of birds
That let them soar above mankind
Like the hollow truth we can never find
And with the last breathe of my soul
I spread my wings one last time
