I should know when, right?
With a wink of your eye,
a flash of your smile,
a flick of the wrist
a twitch of your finger,
a pull to the trigger,
and a shot to my heart,
that's my cue, right?
I should know when, right?
With a silent whisper,
a sarcastic sigh,
a melocholy smile,
a burning glare,
a turn on the heels,
and a tapping of your shoes
growing fainter and fainter,
I'll know then.
Thats when I should know
that You're not coming back, right?
When you shoot me down,
and act like you didnt mean it,
and stroll away with weight lifted
off of your shoulders almost as if
you're floating from me,
thats when I should know to not love you.
Thats my cue to:
pull out the bullet,
signed with your name,
throw it away,
stitch up the hole,
smile and nod,
and get up with out a sound,
and tell myself "I dont love you now"
thats when the curtain closes, right?
Then theres no curtain call,right?
We just go our seperate ways off stage,
and forget about eachother.
Thats when I'll know.
