An Evening's Embrace

An evening here
                        music is playing,
The stars are out
                        and you look...
                                          stunning,
Your warmth I need,
                              My heart beats faster,
We dance...
                  cheek to cheek,
                                   You smile at me,
These moments are special
                              when a heart looks within,
All these silent memories
                           as you speak
                                        touch as
                                                 romantic poetry,
And in those spoken rhythms
                            I find contentment
                                              a heartbeat
                                                         at a time,
Even the moon smiles,
                        For two loves
                                       find
                                            an evening's embrace.

    This poem really touched me.. it is rare because it allows you to accept the beauty of love and/or romance even if it only lasts for a short time.. two hearts beating in rhythm at a given moment...
