Whispering Winds (Rictameter)

Softly,
whispering winds
gently caress my face.
Tender their touch I feel your lips,
taste your sweetness, tongues dancing together.
Slowly I melt into your arms,
as I hear the sound of
winds whispering,
softly.

Lovely, soft alliteration in this piece adds to the feeling of tenderness and body language. I like the golden backdrop, too and the heart formed in the couple's shadow. It's nice to think that such intimacy begins and ends the same way. Karen

Karen, Thank you for the applauses and your lovely words of praise. Rictameters are one of my more favorite forms to write. I did change the background to one I just created though. Yes as the rictameter begins and ends the same so does intimacy. I'm very happy that you enjoyed this piece. Love and God bless you my friend, Joyce

OOh this was very soft and very wonderful,
I have tried many times to do this form, but my spirit of free flow always seems to hold me trapped, yet you make it seem so easy and do it with a breath taking way.

Shey, The rictameter is a free flowing piece and I think if you put your mind to it the syllable restrictions wouldn't hold you back. Not with your talent. Thank you for such lovely words of praise and I'm very happy that you enjoyed this one so much. Love and God bless you my friend, Joyce

Hello Vickie, You should have been thinking of Mel when you read it and then you wouldn't have blushed. LOL Thank you for the applauses and your lovely words for me. Your nursing school studies must be keeping you very busy. I was so happy to see your words here, you gave me such a big smile. I'm very happy that you enjoyed this and I thank you for the best wishes also. I haven't stopped by your page in a while. I will be by shortly. Just listening to those whispering winds right now.
