Thank you mommy,
for watching me attempt to sew,
a quilt peiced together by loving hands.
For telling me the secrets of the kitchen,
and explaining to me why boys wont speek to me.
Thank you mommy,
for holding my hand crossing the street.
For watching me under that spotlight,
but for turning it off when the show was over.
For explaining why he smiled at me.
Thank you daddy,
for treating me like the son you never had.
For giving me games of war and stratagy,
for never being ashamed that your little girl,
should grow up like you.
Thank you daddy,
for as I got older,
warning the boys I dated,
and standing gaurd over me.
For being he support in my life.
Thank you parents,
for making my life easy,
while letting me learn.
For helping me grow,
for letting me go.

This is so beautiful. It is such a great example of the thankfulness that people should show for their parents. You did a beautiful job.
