The Oracle

fire on the star of death from afar
the senseless watching of aeons past
sent shivers down my line and attire
as i railed against the future's mast.
for centuries long i'd been the guardian of all
measuring words from a tomb of gold
that few forsake for their semblance of guilt
might save them yet from wealth unsold

Author notes

This I think is an amazing poem, about an Oracle and how they perceive those that they are there to advise, love, nurture and protect.

The thought is made from profoundness and selflessness. The glory of sacrifice which is the noblest can only be lit up by sacrifice itself. The majesty is seen.
