Strings of attachment
dangling free
living a life
head on forward
what's done is done
rectify as needed
wrongs and rights unevenly unfold
balancing the scale of justice
attaining worldly riches
bought by blood and sweat
given back for a piece of peace
revealing the heart
cannot be held against you
it only releases the burden
come on is such a joy

Make it easy, indeed! As I mentioned to another contest entrant, there may not be many entries but at least you all captured the essence of what I was hoping to see. This one speaks my language as well, and we could "make" life much easier with a slight change in our intent. I love the spiritual message along with the cutting assessment of some of life's temptations. Thank you for entering!
