My father's wisdom taught with grace and discipline;
instilled society's morals and standards.
"But still you are unique, conform only when you must."
As son turns 18, hearing grandpa's whispers.

As son turns 18, hearing grandpa's whispers.
Author notes
Prompt: Father and son, coming of age.
Even as a female, my father's wisdom was instilled into me, and I only hope that I have and will do a good enough job of raising my son, that he will hear the whispers of his grandfather, as he comes into his own age.
