Can you see that in her smile?
It's the same that makes me cry
Out of joy as I see you
Little girl, with eyes so blue
Easily the words should come
But with one look they're all gone
Wiped away by your small hands
Make me forget all pretense
You're the unknown miracle
Absolution in your eyes
And whoever you will be
For you I'd lay down my life
Will you with guitar in hands
Once sing songs of unknown lands?
Will you find a loving man
Or a girl who'll understand?
You will be one of a kind
Daughter of this troubled mind
But no matter who you'll be
Here's what I will always see
You're the unknown miracle
Absolution in your eyes
And whoever you will be
For you I'd lay down my life

very interesting POV-- the poem itself was very loving.
"And whoever you will be
For you I'd lay down my life"
there's a strong acceptance portrayed in this piece-- freedom for the child to be who she will be, and loving whoever that may be. -

Thank you. I think that's the most important thing to give to a child - loving them for whoever they are.
