Daddy your Son knows what its like to not have a Father

Daddy why do you lie?
is it to protect me?

I think from the truth,
you dont want me to
know your not perfict

dad i never thought you were.

It would be hard to
grow up without
a father,dont you
think?

Maybe you should ask your son.

He would know because
you werent there at
all

You didnt even tell your
other daughters

I know what its feels
like to grow up with you
its no cup of tea eather

To not know of a half brother
locked away in your past
hurts me so much i would
have forgiven you...
if that was the first lie
but it wasnt.

When i find him i will tell you
how i know of your secret
ive had a brother without
knowing it
he will want to meet you im sure


Dont worry ill inform him

"Living without your father will save you a heart break"

    awww its sad. the way the father lies and then... aww... lol. wonderful poem. and very nice. i think that maybe the father should be at blame for lying but i mean.. has he been there for you did he do stuff for/with you? in all actuality no fathers perfect or mother either.. and you have to take the good with the bad and smile when your sad =]. nice poem. thanks for the entry and good luck!! =]

    You know your father better than he does and yeah if you know that he's a total and utter ass and lies about things, your brother is better off without him in his life, he will live a better life knowing you and others in your family. I'm glad you could express what it feels like for you to know your fathers 'secret'. I know I would be mad at my dad forever. Not to say I wouldn't love him but I wouldn't like him, if that makes sense.

    Wow this is very deep i too have no father really ive seen him like 2or 3 times in my life and he dont really want anything to do with me he dont call or write or anything not even an email nothing it was hard at first but then i realized that i was not the one missing out but he was so then i just didnt care about hi at alll any more and sometimes i forget hes even there like hes someone i just made up long ago, excellent write.

      I havnt met my half brother i dont even know his name my father never told me he had a son im 13 now and i found out about 2 months ago by my mom they have been divorsed since i was 4. Thanks for your Opinon=)
