city streets--
jungles
overgrown with
high-rise, choking vines
and concrete underbrush
daylight uncovers
bewildering mazes of mystery
and primeval anxiety
night howls with
millions of illuminated eyes
blinking their secret desperation
I explore
alone,
afraid I will find myself here

Wow an excellent take on the prompt. In this confusing world it is so hard to find our place and even when we do it seems to constantly change. Love the metaphors with the jungle and underbrush with the high rises, very clever indeed.
Great write my friend. All the best with this
