Headstones standing row on row
Shining white as the snow,
Many bearing an unknown name.
Yet buried all are the same
Rank and file all together
A tie that no-one can sever.
Buried in the land they died
Moved from where they lied.
The mess and mud of the field
long gone; old wounds have healed.
All together buring row on row
With headstones as white as snow
All are equal in death.

Wow. This is an interesting poem. I love poems about war. I am not sure why. I am so fascinated by history. The only thing is that there were a few typos in here. I think perhaps the second line of the second stanza should be 'they' instead of 'the.' I may have read it wrong, though. Still an awesome poem!
Write on.

Thanks. I'm not too sure either but it is a fascinating subject to write about.
Thank you for finding the typo I've corrected it now.
Thanks!
