I have no idea, how to begin
to write a poem about a sigh
and I really don’t feel much like poetry today
Some poets write only temporary chronicles
passing with time
others, a narrative of the times
Are we talking about the chronicle of the sigh?
of a certain moment?
And if so, such a moment, as we know it
may not be wonderful, but unrepeatable
like poetry itself ~sigh~
I must l try to be creative
so today I write with only
a bedsheet draped around my nakedness
Poetry is quicksand
the floorboards creak
history breaths like a sleeping cat
While I smoke clove cigarettes
and try not to write
about depressing things
(despite the heat)
If you listen carefully
you may just hear the suspiration
... of liquiefied words
Sigh of Indifference
Author notes
My word choice: sigh
* Suspiration
Sigh - heave or utter a sigh; breathe deeply and heavily; "She sighed sadly" *to suspire

Beautifully written...
Language, flow and everything about this poem makes me sigh~

Excellent poetic definition of a sigh..this is poetry that shows rather than tells - and although it paints the process (the sigh) of poetry it is poetry too. I listened...and I heard the sigh hidden within these words. Lovely poetry!

Ah...such soft sublime beauty of words and engaging flow... (=
You are brilliant....I have the ideas of timely poetry and poetry of times and their relations to sighs....It's just so apt....(=
"Poetry is quicksand
the floorboards creak
history breaths like a sleeping cat"
