Drowning is love;
Drowning in blood.
Downing forever,
Blood in my lungs.
I feel the walls closing up,
I feel my lungs closing in.
Deeper I go and deeper more,
I feel my way surrounding still;
The waves forever closing in,
I feel myself forevermore.
Lonely in the class,
Lonely in my mind.
I fall asleep and wake alone,
I walk alone and fall asleep.
Drowning in love,
Drowning is blood.
Blood is love,
And love is blood.
I walk until I walk no more,
Slowly burning at your cross.
You call me names, you make fun of my hair;
I am not perfect, I am not you; forevermore dreaming of a way.
A way from you, a world a part, no longer alone;
You are me, and I am gone, you pull my hair you call me names.
I gently slip off and feel alone; drowning is love,
You are blood, I feel my waves slowly disappointing.
You tell me I am no good, you tell me I am not well;
I wished, oh wished, that you .. yes you .. would love me still.

Loved how this was abstract and a rush of thoughts toward the end. Just loved it! Thanks for entering my contest!

so sad
But I love the layout of the poem and the way that you have it two lines at a time. Very good work here
