I'm slowly losing my place
Slipping out of reality
Into a dream of imagination

The walls threaten to close on me
But the beat of the music comes on making me dance
I finally have my chance to relax
Closing my eyes and let its arm enfold around me

Sweat falls as my body moves to the beat
I'm so sick of not being free so I dance for all to see
I close my eyes and travel far away
The music comes to a stop

I lean against the wall and bow my head
Sinking to the floor
Trying to remember how to breathe
How to slow my hearts race and just breathe
