The ticking of the clock fades
As time ceases to flow
In this one perfect moment
How forever feels I know
The water babbles swiftly
But in the centre I am still
It doesn't matter what I do now
I have eternity to kill
Running through the long grass
And dancing the gypsy way
Time has stopped around me
Today's still yesterday
This is how you make me feel
When you hold me in your arms
I am safe from the passage of time
And all its future harms
With you by my side
Each moment feels so real
When I look into your eyes
I know how forever feels
