I thought the pain of loosing you would never go away,
I loved you more than words could say.
Your sweet smile and Loving eyes,
always had me mesmerized.
You were gentle, you were kind,
your memory will always be engraved in my mind.
I guess we were never meant to be,
you were not my destiny .
and with tears in my eyes,
with a soft kiss we said our good byes,
My heart broke and I though I would die.
I'll treasure always in my heart.
those precious moments that we spend,
just holding each other in a warm embraced,
not wanting to let go, but to keep on holding on.
I wish that I could say, that for ever together we would stay.
but we both knew it had to end this way.
I saw it in your eyes, please don't tell me it was a lie,
you still love me I could see, but you were too proud to admit it,
so you chose to let me leave.
and I just want to say.......
that with you my heart has stayed
and I will love you always...

this is a really good poem...i can relate to it..
in i think two lines you left out the "t" on thought.. just a typo...but overall nice job.
