Each beat of the heart
and thought of a day
are more than
the body's or mind's
vow's of life.
They are
gentle nudges
to live
beyond one's senses,
inhaling
all the fragrances
of profound
exhaled in the currents
from the Lord's breath.
We never truly thrive
till we kiss the dawn
with our mind's eye,
sensing the soul's fabric
dressing our essence
in eternity's pulse.
