sunset shines in brilliance
outside my bedroom window
reminding me of inner resilience
leaving me with the question how
such beauty does reside here
in colors that are luscious
as if it just for me appears
it’s obvious it’s not atheous
pebbles rounded by the shore
smooth as a polished jewels
adding to the lush décor
where nothing breaks the rules
