Lost are the sacrificed souls of the past,
Buried inside yourself; hidden by lies,
Revolution is near, but will it last.
As to many this comes as a surprise.
Rebelling against your life of routine,
Running forever free-is this a dream?
But can you forget all that you have seen?
As the night falls the moon still hears you scream.

Bold, dark, and biting. The truth stings sometimes, but your talent as a writer sweetens this piece to the poet's eye. I especially liked the last two lines. Wonderful feeling, this is a great piece.
Best of luck and thanks for entering! -

Great Writing
Brilliant writing. Keep it up. The flow and layout are superb. This piece is quite sad and dark too. It is also deep and comes from the heart. You are gifted, keep writing.
All the best
