a person that is lying to everyone,
so that person can't ever lie to themself."
Doubt floods your mind with poison,
Tearing you up from the insides out.
You know that it's likely this is the end
But still you find your face in a pout.
With their deathly response of nothing
You learn the worst part of a lie
Is when you actually start believing it...
That is the exact moment you start to die.
Each morning you wake with a lesser value,
You're sense of regret has faded, dissipated
And hope for a better day no longer exists,
You know you should never have participated.
And when your lies become your truths
Is when your life becomes your death.
But you were good enough all along,
You just didn't know till your last breath.
Author notes
[[I like how 'Never fall in luv' has a bit of individuality to it.]]
The quote at the top of the poem is from Stephen King's Misery. It is actually stated in a man's point of view however I've changed it to a unisex view.
"I'm sorry I never spoke up. People like me can and always will be replaced, but never forgotten. Spite me all you want for tomorrow you'll wake and find me gone." - A sad & sorry girl.

I loved this, it's exactly how I feel. I never know that I'm worth something until someone shows me I am. But not one second after I have mucked something up for me, or me and them. So I guess I make myself not worth it by worrying I'm not worth it, if that makes sense. Great write. The last stanzas the best!
