glisten free
unbound from society
tonight, tonight
all strips away
delight, delight,
I’ll lead the way
Come, oh come
‘tis not too far
free from life and death and scar
Beauty, beauty
come be free
glisten, glisten,
inside me
Author notes
Two days ago I was taken to the oral surgeon and had four of my wisdom teeth taken out. When I came to from the anestesia; still drugged beyond belief I asked for a pen and paper. They gave it to me, and though I remember little about writing this, this is what came out. I am pretty sure it actually is written about the chemicals that induced the anesthesia, but It's hard to say, I was pretty f***ed up. *option 28* Intravenous Jesus--Lycan lore, wholesome whore, breatheren bred, bloody bed!"

The flow and meter in this is spot on. The simplicty adds a great power, a sincere touch. I think the poem was strengthened also by the circle of the first and final stanza. Thanks for entering.
