The Atlantic

Endless deserted beach as far as the eye can stretch.
Standing on the shore She called to me,
in a language I thought I had forgotten.
I listened with apprehension.

Shedding mans’ shame I leapt into Her abyss .
She sucked me into Her warm inviting waters.
Twisting and turning me through the currents.
A thousand fingers caressing my skin,
as She delightfully tosses me in Her waves.

Oh She plays rough!

Pushing and pulling me down beneath Her breaks.
Only glimpses of bright sunshine and azure sky.
With child-like giddiness I swim naked in the sea,
playfully wrestling the mighty Atlantic.

    Oh My God!!!!!

    What an INCREDIBLE Theme!!!!!!!

Now here's the part you're going to hate me for...>>>

It is DQ'd because of all the CAPS!

    I have mentioned this over & over & over....and I just don't

know what else to say to Poets, to keep them from Capping

    the beginning of each line!

I was giggly or sort when I got to your last ( 2 ) lines....Brilliant!!

This would have won a Trophy....you showed me how to sit & ponder with

all the moves of Imagery, action....thought process...Theme!

    Arrrggg!

Please try again in the POW!

    I LOVE your talent!
