So your birthday has rolled around again
and still you say you are only four times ten.
Seems like it was way more then that
when you first got your little butt smacked.
Now I know it was several decades ago
you cried your first and let the tears flow.
But I won't tell any one about your age
because I am almost on that page.
Just make sure the whole world knows
that you can still bend and touch your toes.
We all know age is a state of mind
and you have always been too refined.
To let the whole world see you weep
over something as trivial as loss of sleep.
From thinking about being more then four times ten
now this birthday has rolled around again.
So now before I get into trouble
and burst your little bubble.
I will say the magic words you most want to hear
Happy Birthday dear sister and to you good cheer

Sorry it wont let me give you clappies again, though

Well, Sis, since you wont be here for birthday I guess I'll have to settle for this old birthday poem. That's okay, though... recycling is a good thing
Good luck in the contest

What a sweet poem you penned for my auntie Dee. It was so funny and filled my lips with a big smile! I specially loved the line about bending and touching toes. You lady know how to make someone’s day happier!
I thank you kindly for penning this for my auntie and I wish you luck in the contest you entered

Lol... you nut!!
I love this, Darlene and you're so gracious about my age. Wait, what age, who said anything about age.
Will the real birthday girl please rise up off her fat (errr, I mean pleasantly plump) ass and be recognised.
I love this, Sis. It's the coolest birthday wish I've ever had. Now where's the presents?
And forget the candles, they don't make that many to a box. Besides I'm too out of breath from laughing to blow out all 70 of them.
Thanks a bunch.
Love and
Dee

I guess age is not relevant and beauty is in the eyes of the beholder...

In the photo of the two sisters I am the young pretty one...
