But now I say Go Fuck Yourself.

I know I've heard these lies from my ex partner, he still every once in a while decides to phone me up and tell me that he still loves me and I nearly fall for it, it's ridiculous how someone can play with your heart like that.

This is absolutely wonderful! I love the power you exhibit over your ex. Most can't be this strong against someone they thought loved them. I'm glad you found that strength.
And, I love the last stanza.

thank you for entering my contest. This poem is intense. i can relate to the line "I could see it in your eyes" it is the most horrific feeling to look at someone pleadingly and to see staring back at your someone new who doesnt care and you wonder if they ever cared because if they did how did they all of a sudden stop caring. The first moment you realize someone doesnt love you anymore there is nothing else worse than that as you cant change it..... Nice Write and good luck
