The Art Of Acceptance

Pitiful am I,
To seek no help for my sorrow.
Sorrow that has been allowed to fester  far to long.

I have wept in seclusion,
Away from the world.
And only now, after all this time,
Do I reach out.

But I fear,
The tears have fallen.
And no one shall care.

He has been lost for a time now,
So will people see?
Will they understand?

Accept my heart, every piece in full?
Take me in,
Let me out again?

Or, simply love me,
If only.

This was very saddening poem. I do think there are some overuse words in here (love, heart, fallen, tears.) I liked the idea behind the poem and the rest of the poems diction and format though. Thanks for entering.
