The cool of the surface can't mask the heat from my eyes
I'm so upset that I can't even cry
My head in my hands my face scrunches painfully
I dig my fingers into my scalp as you pray for me
As you're falling away I look up to see
The stars have aligned just for me
Sink me into the cold water and flush away my anger
Hold my hands and tell me it will all be over
Hold my breath and descend the stairs
See your face and your jet black hair
Kiss me like you want me, even though you don't
And I know this, I just need to know you won't (leave)
Heaven's promises can't hold me together
The white room is warm but can't hold me forever
You made a fool out of yourself like you do
But this time you made one out of me too
I can cry now, but I can't let you see
The pain ascending my burning body
Spiraling out of sight, your voice can save me
But you never said a word, you just let me be
Someone save me, this chokehold hurts
Raising Hell with my bare hands, the pain diverts
Spitting out the blood you wasted trying to save my life
When all I tried to do was end it with a knife
"Try and save me baby, you'd never know how"
Those words are like a punch in the mouth
Give me all the life you lost
I'll give you the love you want without the cost
I hear your voice now, its going to be alright
Tell me you love me, even if you don't tonight
I need to hear it from someone, if no one at all
Here I come crashing down, without your love to cushion the fall
I'm not okay, just let me be
Even when I scream for you to save me
That way you'll be rid of me soon
To which your hardened heart is immune.

These two lines are just wonderful, I can't describe what makes them that way, they just are so beautifully worded. This entire poem is that way, I'm very glad I clicked on this to read!
