When the sun rises,
I will sleep.
When the rooster crows,
I will moan.
But,
When the sun sets,
I cry.
When the moon waxes,
I know it's not long.
And the last day,
When the sun rises,
I will be at peace.
When the rooster crows,
I will know I am not alone.
And then,
When the sun sets.
I will not be afraid.
When the moon wanes,
I will say,
"I will not go gentle into this night!"
