The moment we almost kissed

I could feel your breath
pushing wisps of hair from my neck
lightly tickling as they fell
each back to its proper place

the entire world
glistened
in your eye
and for that moment

I danced in the possibility
of your lips
and mine
and the reflection of fire

Author notes

Honestly, I'm not sure how I feel about this poem. I want to do something with it, but I'm not sure what. I'm tempted to add a stanza stating that we never actually kissed, but I think that's implied int he title and may be overdoing it.

Please tell me what you think

And I'm not sure why you have twelve lines...you have two minutes to change this or it will be void and disqualified. It is nothing personal, it is only policy...
