A warriors cry
Is shattering the sky
Dark clouds roll in
We flee as the storm begins.
A thousand strong
no ground stays dry for long
the earth shakes in terror
Never have I seen such fervor
Time and again they come
Flying to the sound of a distant drum
Wave after wave crashes
Pouring salt in all these gashes
A single tree makes up the battleground
For this war void of sound.

Very Interesting!
Very nice imagery, although I'm not sure I get the gist of this poem! The flow, sound and wording this poem is very good! Keep working on it! Good work!

I like the images this conjures and the many flights of fancy on which the mind may travel.

umm no it was just birds on trees.....but its something i see a lot and tend to get lost in watching them...as one takes off and they swarm a tree forcing the birds in that tree to retreat to a different tree...adn the way they do this territorial grabbing without ever attacking each other...its weird...idk haha maybe?
