Author notes
from the secret life of mr hyde
its been suggested recently that it become standard practice to avoid use of punctuation when publishing poetry the next step would possibly be to delete vowels then gaps between words so my above poem would appear as follows:

i hope i dont live long enough to see these developements occur

OOHH BOOYY, I bet you enjoy the quiet solitude on a Wednesday afternoon. Hope you leave some food in the fridge for Edna. Beaut poem Babe.

I can agree with you over the punctuations as regarding the AP book. It is strange to see you write like this but quite a change and I know how you love the hours on Wednesday afternoons when Edna is at bridge to relax for awhile.
Good one Hugh.
Love Bea

You have to admit, as prose it works just fine. I know it has something to do with that allpoetry book of "poems." But I'm not hip on the bruhaha.
No punctuation is that their deal I guess it would be something like this then If it were prose where would we know when to start and to stop It would look like one long run on sentence and would distort authors meaning and intent What makes them think poetry is any different

Mr. Hyde eh, looks like 'cause you don't write that way. Who possessed your pen while you were inspecting the fridge?
It's scary to read a poem of yours written in that way, feels like being in the twilight zone
Quite amusing nonetheless

LOL... Awww, what a few hours of freedom can do for a person. And see, I knew all along that you didn't really like all that perfect grammar and punctuation
This is such a cute poem, Hugh... love it
