Dried tears upon my rosy cheeks,
Too weak to wipe them away,
I learned that what I want I cannot seek,
My heart learned a hard lesson today.
Lying in a ball unable to move,
The pain is too much to to bare,
Ache inside my heart I won't sooth,
There is a chill in the sodden air.
The memories are broken in time,
My mind is full of hurt and the tears,
Words cannot describe the crime,
As though a thief stole away the years.
Endless words and yet there are none,
Imagining couldn't do it justice now,
Yet the hole has already begun,
Growing until it will not be allowed.
