I didnt know it would be this hard,
Knowing you dont feel the same,
And having to stay apart.
Why did you tell me you loved me,
If it wasnt really true?
I thought that it was real,
But it was just a joke to you.
Now I realise the truth,
It was all just a lie,
But I still dont understand,
Please tell me why.
Cos I fell in deep,
And I need to be saved,
And your love is the thing,
That I have craved.
But now I just wanna let go,
Get away from all this,
But I can't,
Not without that last kiss.
I wanna hate you,
But I love you too much,
I cant let you go,
I just wanna feel your touch.
Nothing could make me hate you,
Not that I havent tried,
Even after all those tears,
After all I've cried.
So please just let me go,
And give me back my heart,
Cos I cant stand loving you,
And having to stay apart.

ok so i was being tormented but the fact that instead of cuz you cos and it was increadibly annoying but beyond that i like this poem a lot and i'm happy you entered my contest. you portrayed that hopeless feeling of heartbreak very very well and i'm impressed by your skill to do so. but thank you for entering and i wish you the best of luck
