My Punishment......

We had it all and shared everything
We talked through out the day every day
We formed a bond that was so strong
There were no others that we would rather be around
The time we had left to spend was with each other
The feelings we had were so strong
Even though we were only friends
You were my friend unlike any other
Always there when i needed you
Always there whenever I had something to say
A shoulder to cry on when no one else was around
A person to talk to when no one was there
Someone to chat with to help me stay sane
We had a connection unlike anything else
But now that is all gone
It is all taken away from me
Over a mistake I didnt mean to make
A line that I crossed that I didnt mean to
And it was done because I care so much for you
I only wanted to help. To lend a hand.
But I pushed you too far. Over the edge.
Our friendship, Our bond, Our everything
Left splattered on the ground and turned into ash
Swept up by the wind and never to return again
Nothing left of the way it used to be and its all my fault.
The time has come for my punishment.
