[ Ladies and Gentlemen ]

Ladies and gentlemen
here it is
the moment you have been waiting for
the girl that stuck it out so long
cant hold back any longer
the glue that held her world together
was imperfect just as herself
and the distance feels extended
between happiness and the broken peices
what a beautiful mistake was made
right there on her arm
it wasn't meant to be this way
she swore she'd figure it out
how far away can her heart be
spread across 3,000 miles
the endless darkness in her heart
was not put there over night
she's getting weary now
too much pain for too long
how far away does true love stretch?
how sharp does true pain feel?
only she could know...

    The lack of capitalisation detracted from the over all experience, as did the lack of punctuation. Also "pieces" is spelt "ie" not "ei".
    This reminded me of another poem that I've read, though I don't remember it's name. Thanks and good luck.

    I can relate to this a lot. I moved last summer and I've only seen my best friends twice. It's so hard because there is nobody in the world that can replace them... nobody that can come close. Distance can only do so much but remember it can never break the bonds of friendship.

    This piece was unique and very well written. I definitely can relate to this..because of distance issues and feeling alone and far away from everyone. Thanks for the write and I very much enjoyed it.
