He thought that I was a virgin--
But I was not.
He thought that I was new at this--
But I was well practiced.
He thought that he held every key--
I still possessed a few.
He thought that I was the fragile doll--
Oh no! My being was strong and taut.
He thought that I meant him harm--
But he was wrong.
I wanted just to love him truely--
And never do him wrong.

Ah! What is life without a love poem dedicated to the one who makes your heart go pitter patter?:-)

How many women have I slept with who pretended to be virgins...Ah, if only I had a million pounds for each and every one.
-
I loved this poem.
I thought my wife was a virgin when we first made love but found out diffently later on. I think the old adage; "Practice Makes Perfect" may apply here. lol

A new dimension ... Let men not presuppose beofe the act is finished....A wonderful write, honey!

very well done -
the poem dances right along - telling a story from the heart - the rhyme is ok too - like it - kind of sexy too - the last line should read "And never ever do him wrong"- just a suggestion - last line sounds like a double negative - I like your style - you are good - Bless God - Joe

Very very very good poem!
I think you rock, like granite with overflows of hardened lava, like smooth dark obsidian like diamond!
