See this broken boy
He's come to you in
blood-spattered desperation
Hoping you won't turn him away
Like all the others
Hes knocking on the door
of the Last Resort
And you wonder if you'll give him the chance
one final chance
Even if he didn't think of you til now
The first, the last thing on his mind
His options are spent
Like fragments of burnt up rockets
Nothing but smoke and remorse left
There's nowhere else to go
Of course
you will open your door
Feed and clothe the boy,
hoping for the best
And maybe he'll stay
No, he will soar off in to the distance,
like the freed caged bird
But maybe now you'll be closer to his heart
You won't turn him out
