A blank piece of paper
sits before my eyes,
my hand hovering,
with all the words
at my fingertips.
All of the images
that I must show you
fill my mind,
sights you should behold,
right behind my eyes.
And show you I will.
That is a promise
made of concrete,
unshakable and unbreakable,
Yyou shall share my awe.
The story of which
I will soon relate,
can only fill your heart
with such unspeakable
glorious joy and wonderment.
Holding ego in check,
it is still undeniable
that you, my friend,
have been waiting to hear
such a tale all your life.
Trust me when I say
you will never forget,
it is the kind of yarn
that you tell your descendants,
they too can share the glory.
Alas, if it was not
for the pressing matter
of what should I have
for my breakfast,
you would already know,
I would have written already.
On the other hand,
it is such a lovely day,
that the very sun herself
aches to be bathed in.
Stay strong and forthright,
patience, my friend.
My tale of ages will be told
and your heart will weep,
for now, I have but this to say:
I will get back to you……

Author notes
Procrastination. Aaaaaaaaah...you just can't beat it.
Well, you could. If you could be bothered. I know I could. Right now, if I wanted to.
Tell you what.....I'll do it later.

I will get back to you...or maybe I should comment now, but I can always do it later...even though it has always been said there's no time like the present...then if that is so, why do I always tend to let things go until another time...maybe I should do it now since I am the host, but would that be wrong of me since it is about procrastination...should I comment later rather than now...hummmmmm, I will get back to you on that(lol). Guess I commented after all or did I? I think I did! Oh well, I'm sure it counts. I want to thank you for entering my "The Procrastination Station" contest.
