Under the shade tree
Where darkness runs
Lies a single black rose
With its back to the sun
There the grave lies
No name clearly shown
Just one small rose
And a name set in stone
My heart sinks
As I hear the ravens call
And as I venture closer
My skin begins to crawl
I can see through the fog
Yet can't believe my eyes
It is my name on the stone
Am I the one who dies
Is this certain
Can it be changed
Have I finally seen the truth
Or am I utterly derranged
Say it is certain
My heart will surely break
Darkness followed by a flash of light
At last from this nightmare I escape
