in dreams, she jumps from skylines

falls-

cheek against pillow

( his fingers
      reach right-through )
                       

& she barely has a thing
to wear

now her skin no longer fits

In dreams, we can remember them, but even ghosts can't save us.. they are really just optical delusions.. and when we are stripped bare with grief we are nothing more than ghosts ourselves..
