You

The rain that twists the sky above
will forever match the twisting of my own essence
since you arrived.
and all to care as I caress the lonely tide
with you there massive by my side.
the shoreline dances amongst our withered ankles, to play
but I can only wonder if this time, will you stay?
At heart to hand
running through the sand
in moments meant to be here on land
feel far away - distance grand.
it's been too long
I might be wrong,
but I love you.
So says my minded thoughts of wanted needs.
But what on this earth can possibly feed
the burning hole you left inside of me
the day you were free?
