"Never cared for what they do
Never cared for what they know
But I know"
He kept saying that as He passed me on the street.
An evil looking man,
But one that one you looked in His eyes
You knew that he lived a life.
"Never cared for what they do
Never cared for what they know
But I know"
What was he talking about i wondered, as i followed him into a tavern.
"Trust I seek and I find in you
Every day for us something new
Open mind for a different view
And nothing else matters"
Saying this he turns to me.
Lovingness longing in his eyes.
I thought i was a shadow following him that night.
Just a no one, but i was wrong.
Not knowing what was happening, throwing caution to the wind.
Proceeding with his wishes "as nothing else mattered"
"Never cared for what they say
Never cared for games they play"
For he never really cared about any thing it seemed
The games we play are mere laughs in his eyes.
"So close no matter how far
Couldn't be much more from the heart
Forever trusting who we are
No nothing else matters"
For the man of the night, the one who cares not of mere mortals games
Has taught me a lot of life and more. Trusting ourselves is that which needs to done.
Trusting yourself will make you mortal but it's the one key for immortality.
Knowing that you can rise over people and become that of the ancients.
While nothing really matters.
In the grasps of death, nothing else matter but living.
and so now being a child of the night, one of the shadows.
Nothing matters to me, except myself.
And only feeding on the void that has become my life.
