I Love You

Everything that is evil,
You hold dear.
Everything that brings me happiness,
You squash it to nonexistance.
Everything about me,
You cause pain to.
You drag me slowly down,
But yet I still want you.
I seek you out,
Even though you will destroy me.
Knowing the pain, I still come.
I reach out to you.
Ignoring the hurt and pain,
It is only you I want.
I love you.
I will always love you.

No matter what you do.
No matter what you say.
No matter the pain that I recieve.
I will still call for you.
I will still yearn for you.
You and you alone.
If the pain comes with you,
I will accept.
As long as I have you.
Because I love you.
I will always love you.

Author notes

A good friend of mine claims he distances himself from me because he loves me and doesn't want to hurt me. I have told him if the feeling is there, I will take the pain, I will take the hurt, I would even sign my life over to the Devil himself just to be with him.
This poem is for him. I do love him. If I can have him, I'll be happy, if not, I will accept it.
