Faded photographs adorn this home
Musty smells of long ago linger on
And the darkness of the old room
Betrays the memories left behind
Smiles of joy and sounds of laughter
Once echoed through these broken rooms
Now all thats left are dusty toys
And dying sunlight upon the tables
Illuminating dust and memories
That once were the substance of life
Yes that is your lot in life
As old music drifts through memory
For a tiny moment awakening feeings
Long lost in the avenues of time
And the faces that one did shine
Look at you once more today
But fade again far away
Like the photos on the dusty wall
And the broken toys and emptyness
And all were the substance of dreams
The dreams faded...

This is brilliant =) I like how you've captured a feeling of loneliness and reminscence in this poem. Truly heartfelt, a great write!
