Maybe this was my happy ending,
No white knight, no frog to kiss,
No prince to break my spindle spell,
But knowing the beau, it's just as well.
Just when I had give up all hope,
With poison ingestion a last resort
And my fairytale going up in flame,
In the distance I heard my name.
You were definitely not what I expected,
Some chivalrous Don Quixote on a quest.
This was no fantasy too good to be true;
Under the circumstances I guess you'll do.
There was no distressed damsel to save,
Atleast not from any eminent danger.
More of a frog than a prince at first glance
I wasn't sure it was worth the chance.
It started out like a scary campfire story
But after the all the once-upon-a-times,
Long-agos, and way-back-whens,
You were the happily ever after in the end.
