Inside of My Pen

Acoustical vibrations rolling ominous evergreen hues

swirling in muse, journey becomes adventure

leaps across time and space, imagination its center

spitting cascading ripples scribed in form

heart-warming rhythm birth ode and poem

solidifying reality and beyond

strumming heart-string like harp, emotions respond

attitude in adjustment, painted in ink

a single pen taking the world to the brink

materializing psychological cliff hangers in odes

recreating castles, dragons and other abodes

bent beams ricochet from omnipotent realms

or a pirate at sea… you take the helm

light speed journey around the world and back again

all from inside of my pen

So many images, so little time. Good job in relaying all of those inside this poem and keeping it very simple form and words. I love this poem. Good job and Good luck in my contest!

Poetry and prose in itself is sertainly a passion, one that can let out our passions for many other things, even poetry. -paint

We as poets are only limited by our own imagination. You have shown that here. Where the muse will arise no one can truly tell or what will come from it. Thank you for entering and good luck!

This is a pretty cool little poem that you have here. I think that the picture was great for setting the mood and I found myself envisioning it while I read. I like it from the first line to the last because it's filled with such poetic wording and thoughts. It really sounded pretty when I read it outloud and I enjoyed you. You did a great job.
