Steam pours
from an empty shore
just the ocean and the
coast line.
Sand and water mingle
driving the land
into the bay
and beyond
while fire lights the sky
and air
in heat so pure
it burns the soul.
Balance is met
and kept
within the mist that
covers
what can not be seen.
Not fully water
not fully air
fire forces us to be
what we couldn't become
on our own.
Author notes
It might not be what you were looking for - but with the yin-yang bit it what happened... absolute balance in cooperation instead of opposition.
