I Hold No Fear

I face the storm
And I hold no fear
For I fear not a gale
Nor the tempter's snare

I am numb to all
And to nothing
For the pain made me man
Nor beast of flesh

I call out in vain
And cry in silence
For I have none to answer
Nor any to fear

I stand here
And I wish not
For silence
Nor the ever lasting oblivion

I hold to nothing
And care not
For this will never cease
Nor will I ever get any reprieve

For Contest: R o s e B l o s s o m 1 0 0 "Don't die live life"

Ok the first stanza I wrote forever ago because I got inspired by this pic and wrote the words on top of it. Then I saw this contest and I thought it fit perfectly and added on to it.

    Wow...this is such a powerful testament of holding no fear...every line is full of affirmation and courage...moreover...I love the natural flow of your poem...very amazing...
