I have five little angels, they came to me one at a time.
But none the less, I love them, and want them to stay mine.
Now some folks never think.. that angels walk on earth,
but my five not only do, they are more then gold in worth.
The first one is now a teenager, she can be a handful.
She is mostly sweet, but can be stubborn as a mule.
The next one is my little man, and I am so proud
but there are things about him, I should not say out loud.
You see he is a strong one, and wants much to be like me,
but his ego is the thing that might bring him to his knees.
My next one is a sweetheart and cute as a little bug,
and never one to ever get enough of her "Daddy's" hugs
My youngest man and man he will be, also will I be proud,
He will propel in sports, his colors will be loud.
That leaves me with my smallest angel of the five,
the others will surround her, like a bee to queen in hive.
So you see my five angels, none are quite the same,
but not one of them, will ever bring me shame.
They know I'll always love them, though I may not be there,
I will still look out for them, and that I will always care.
They may have been my angels and made my life worth while,
now it is my turn to tell Them, "always wear a smile"

Beautiful....but sadly so....
This write captures so much and will surely speak to the children...
You have highlighted things that the children can hold on to...
Well done

Wonderful tribute to his children, touching and sweet.

Two typos if you want to fix them:
The first one is now a teenager, she can be a HANDFUL
They know I'll always love them, THOUGH I may not be there, (I do that one a lot!)

A proud Dad
I feel there are words of love and also a personal message to each one. They might remember he is with them each and every day - as their guardian angel
